Last Dec 2020, Mr. Joey Regala, the founding president of ISOG, First Vice President and Chief Informational Security & Data Protection Officer of East West Bank, with an extensive profile of over 30 years in Information Technology and IT Security on Financial Systems, who served the organization for more than six years, turned over his post, and now sits as the Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees.

Mr. Archieval B. Tolentino, or simply Archie to friends, took the GREAT SHIFT, accepted the challenge, and aims to continue the legacy, with a new mark of leadership.

The current ISOG president is the Chief IT Security Officer of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), an MBA holder, 2017 Chief Security Officer IDG Asia awardee, with certificates in COBIT, ITIL, ISMS, Resilia, and one of the founding members of the organization. He believes that in order to achieve a truly secured network infrastructure, a perfect balance of people, process, and technology should be established.

Consisting of Chief information Security Officers (CISOs) from different financial institutions and IT security professionals, the Information Security Officers Group (ISOG) is the Philippines’ leading information security professional organization.

With its mission to strengthen information security through awareness and education programs while promoting community and fellowship among information security leaders, ISOG sets the standard for sustainable and safe information security environment and espouses a new culture of Information Security with far-reaching impact on the Philippines’ cybersecurity landscape.
