Oscar Visaya

Oscar is a seasoned Technology and Sales leader and a consistent Achiever in the Information and Communications Technology Industry for the past 25 years. Oscar has seen and was part of the evolution of the country’s Internet Infrastructure as he was instrumental in the design and deployment of the IP/MPLS Networks of the Top Service Providers and ISPs of the country and also the design of the country’s largest Internet Data Center Networks back in the early 2000’s as a Cisco Certified Design Professional.
He is currently the Philippines Country Manager at Palo Alto Networks who oversees sales, marketing, channels, technology management and customer support. He is also the Virtual Team Leader of the ASEAN Service Provider team.
Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks, Oscar has held multiple Sales and Technology leadership roles at F5 Networks and Cisco. He was formerly the Country Director and ASEAN Service Provider Virtual Team Leader at F5 Networks and the Regional Manager and Systems Engineering Manager at Cisco.
Oscar is passionate about democratizing world-class Cybersecurity Education in the Philippines and in improving the cybersecurity posture of the Philippine Cyberspace. In 2019, he brought the Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy Program to the Philippines and in 2020 he joined the Board of the Philippines Institute of Cybersecurity Professionals (PICSPRO). He is also the current national Vice President for Training and Events at PICSPRO. In the early 2000’s, as the Head of Cisco Philippines Technical Operations, Oscar was part of the team who successfully drove the Cisco Networking Academy Program to hundreds of Universities and Colleges in the country.
Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Saint Louis University(1990), Philippines, a Certificate from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for its Executive Program in Leadership (2017) and a Certificate from Asian Institute of Management for its Cybersecurity Executive Course (2020) Oscar was recently certified by FORRESTER as a Zero Trust Strategist
