“””Shafique Dawood is a 16 year technology veteran who received his Bachelor of Computing from National University of Singapore and graduated magna cum laude before pursuing his Masters of Technology 2 years later in which he was awarded the Dean’s List. He is forward thinking and is a subject matter expert in National Security and Intelligence having worked with companies such as BAE Systems and many government agencies throughout Asia Pacific.
Shafique is committed to educating the next generation of technologists in both the areas of National Security and Intelligence along with Digital Transformation in Banking. He embraces forward-thinking and mission-critical oriented applications that will serve in the next generation of Cyber Security on all levels ranging from a National Security mid-space level of protection, Counter Terrorism Financing to FinTech and cryptocurrency.
His personal interests range from inter-Aseanic regulatory frameworks and seeking to improve bilateral cooperation between nations and reducing friction whilst seeking a consortium based approach to FinTech and banking as a whole.
He is consulted by many global banks and universities on matters of Digital Transformation and now heads up the APAC Sales and Business Development unit for Group-IB.
